Multi-Family Commingle Recycling

(version español)

roll-cart for multi-family recyclingThis service is only available to customers within the Urban Growth Boundaries of Ashland and Talent.

Ashland Sanitary & Recycling provides 65-gallon "Commingle" roll-carts for all recyclables except glass bottles. Glass bottles go in a blue bin or separate cart. The separate cart is labeled "ALL GLASS BOTTLES" (labels are available in English and Spanish).

The pick-up for Commingle Carts (blue lid, gray body) and glass bins (blue) is on your trash day of recycle week. Refer to the "blue" weeks on your recycling calendar. Copies are available at the Ashland Sanitary and Recycling office, 170 Oak Street, Ashland.

Commingle carts and bins should be placed in your designated common area/recycle area or at curbside by 7:00 a.m. Please review acceptable items below. We need your help! Please put only approved items in the Commingle Carts.

If you choose to not use the Multi-Family Recycling Program, full-service recycling is available in Ashland at the Recycling Center on Water Street and at the Valley View Transfer Station, 3000 N. Valley View Rd. Any questions, please call (541) 482-1471 or email wastenot@ashlandhome.net.

Note: This program works best when there is someone to check the carts before pick-up day to remedy any contamination. If the containers become full due to an event or party, please contact your manager so s/he can request earlier pick-up.

Contamination = Garbage!
